There will be support for Wi-Fi trough CC3000 module, and Ethernet will be
supported via a WIZ820io. But I don't know if there will be a full Tcp/IP
stack support...

But do we really need such connection? Is it not possible to use some
USB/serial/SPI/I²C connection, instead, which is more embedded-oriented?

Well, as you said in your previous message, micropython is maybe too young,
now. In fact, the project is not yet officially released; code is open only
for devs...
