Hi, I've more or less finalized the next release of Pyro (4.27) where we have a major new feature (as announced): metadata querying. This also comes with a few new decorators: @Pyro4.oneway - mark methods as one-way @Pyro4.expose - expose methods, properties, or whole classes New stuff further includes: remote attribute access on the proxy (makes use of the metadata query) no more need for setting _pyroOneway yourself (is done via metadata query) Metadata query user accessible through get_metadata daemon-method REQUIRE_EXPOSE config item if you want to block access by default DOTTEDNAMES and _pyroOneway are deprecated and will be removed in 4.28 You can have a sneak peek at the new documentation here: http://irmen.home.xs4all.nl/pyro-dev-docs/index.html Change log of things to come: http://irmen.home.xs4all.nl/pyro-dev-docs/changelog.html I would love to hear some feedback or perhaps even test results of the new stuff before actually shipping 4.27.
