re Executing python scripts from a python

If you're using Python 2.5 or later, try using the subprocess module.
It has replacements for popen, and os.system and others

I'm calling both an exe and a python script from a Pythoncard app
using subprocess, and I am easily capturing stdout and stderr.
The subprocess module makes this very easy
