My PythonCard codeEditor gets the same error from
line 3313 in ...\wx\_misc.py
(Same system and apps as Alexei.)

I thought it may be a problem in wxPython 2.8.8.1, rather than 
in Boa or PythonCard, but googling found nothing about it.

Haven't tried to work around it yet.
