For me and the kind of general applications I develop for my clients, 
Pythoncard is by far the best and most efficient tool.  I've done a 
number of enhancements over the years (google is your friend).  
Unfortunately not enough people get excited about Pythoncard any more.  
I can't understand it neither.  Life can be so simple.

To be honest, I haven't had much need to write new programs for a while 
and so I don't remember what I use actionbindings for.  I'll look it up 
and post an answer later.
