Dear list,

I would like to kindly ask you, if you could explain to me, how is it
possible to send something to a browser on server-side event?
In another words, how is it done that one can type something into a
browser-based chat and this is immediately broadcasted to all the
participants? I assume they do not send requests to the server every moment?
