Actually it turns out that is user has tried several different macs and dialup/cable access and still this error persists. I'm stumped for ideas to solve it. Due to the error message I'm concerned that it's a bug/problem with pysqlite or Axiom. Sorry to be bothersome with this, but I'd really appreciate any suggestions about where to go from here. I'll send this to the pysqlite mailing list if you think it doesn't have anything to do with Axiom.
