SIP library Sine

Hi all,

I am looking for an efficient well maintained python library to develop
a SIP module for a multimedia application.
I got the code of Sine through the svn repository. It looks sine does a
lot of things, but it is kind of hard to find documentation on how to
build a SIP communication between 2 end points.
Does someone have some examples? Maybe is there somewhere documentation
I couldn't find.
Moreover, the SDP part seems quite binded with xshtoom, but I would like
to use it as a standalone application. What do you think about that?
