Hi Mike! This is cool stuff, and long overdue! I've supported your project on Kickstarter right away! If I get it right you'll typeset the book using reportlab, which is way cool. I suggest dedicating a separate chapter to this chapter, if you like the idea. A shameless plug: feel free to include something on my svglib code that was recently massively evamped by Claude: https://github.com/deeplook/svglib Today the single most important missing feature is native PDF gradient support. If reportlab had that I think it would be extremely interesting. Cheers, Dinu Mike Driscoll <[email protected]>: > > Hi, > > I just wanted to let the users of ReportLab know that I have started working on a book about ReportLab. I believe it might be the first (and only) ReportLab book in existence. Anyway, if you are interested, you can read more about it here: > > https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/34257246/reportlab-pdf-processing-with-python > > I will also be posting about the book and ReportLab in general on my blog. > > Thanks, > Mike > > > ----------------- > Mike Driscoll > > Blog: http://blog.pythonlibrary.org > Books: Python 101, Python 201: Intermediate Python > _______________________________________________ > reportlab-users mailing list > [email protected] > https://pairlist2.pair.net/mailman/listinfo/reportlab-users
