Release 4.4.0 is now available with experimental foundational support for
Arabic/Hebrew, Persian, South Asian, Thai and Khmer scripts.

See the release notes:
   https://docs.reportlab.com/releases/notes/whats-new-44/
...the announcement on Substack...
   https://reportlab.substack.com/p/reportlab-440-arabic-accessible-tables
..and the docs on getting Arabic working...

Our testing so far has focused on Arabic, but if you speak/read/write
another script and want to test it out, get in touch and we'll try to help
fill any gaps in the documentation.

We hope that when these features are stable, the result will be a Version
5.0 that can handle all of the world's scripts.

Best Regards

Best Regards
