Interest in an implementation for a weighted geometric standard deviation and suitable reviewers

I'd like to bring your attention to the following small feature request: https://github.com/scipy/scipy/issues/13424

Matt Haberland referred me to this mailing list, so that I can
1. Check if people are interested in this feature.
2. Find suitable reviewers, since the interpretation of the weighted geometric standard deviation is not trivial.
