Deprecation of scipy.special.sinc

Hi all, scipy.special.sinc is only an alias for numpy.sinc. In this PR <https://github.com/scipy/scipy/pull/19416>, I opened a PR to deprecate it (removal in SciPy 1.14). Please let me know your thoughts on this deprecation. I imagine that this function is used commonly in the wild but the only change needed by users would to switch an import statement.
