What do the xenofarm reports mean?

I'm stumped.  The reports from Xenofarm seem entirely unhelpful.
E.g.:

So my question is, why did it fail?

When I click on either of these URLs, I get a directory listing with
two dozen files.  I sampled a few, but none of them seem to have clues
about what happened, and there's no explanation of which files to look
at.

If there was a clue in Anders' posting about Xenofarm, I must have
missed it.  (Also, what's with the fractional sizes?  What on earth
does "212.0 bytes" mean? :-)
