it is good to hear that you are starting to work on SPE again. I have no 
experience with Zope, although I know some guys who do (
http://www.ezcompany.nl), we are working on a Zope based project at the 
moment. If you have some concrete questions I can ask them to help you out 
(but I cannot promise you anything right now, have to speak to them first).
