They work for me on Windows XP and Ubuntu. Also if you have a mouse
with a scroll button, then Ctrl scrolling works to enlarge/decrease.

You can check that yourself. Try it in the wxPython demo with the stc
demo (in more controls).

Yes, I just tested it and it also works on Windows and Ubuntu.

I prefer not as these things are typically for something you use
keyboard shortcuts for. It would bloat the menus unnecessarily.
