To: [email protected] Message-ID: <[email protected]> Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed Hi, I've installed the latest SPE via SVN, along with upgrading to python2.5 at the same time. Of course, I forgot to uninstall SPE beforehand like a fool, and consequently have got some problems. 1. shell extension not working now, 'Edit with SPE' in the right-click just throws up an 'Open With .. ' menu, with python.exe hilighted. 2. Can't run some scripts from within SPE. Some work when I press 'F9', but others do nothing except print 'script terminated' in the output window. The same scripts worked before in the last SPE i had. The only way I can get these to run is through pressing 'SHIFT-F9' to run in a terminal window, which obviously means no nice traceback in the output window. I've removed the _spe folder from my python 2.4 installation, downloaded the SVN version to python25/lib/site-packages/. I still have python2.4 installed, but 2.5 is now the default. any help greatly appreciated cos I really like SPE! _________________________________________________________________ Txt a lot?
