informal poll: flow control tags in "core"

Does anyone actually use the spy:for, spy:if, etc. tags?

Would you still use them if you knew there was a significant performance
penalty vs just using the plain Python equivalents?

Frankly I'm leaning towards taking these out (or moving them to a tag
collection in contrib/) for 2.1 -- they are cumbersome to use vs plain
Python and slower. But if there is a large number of people who wrote
code using them I would think twice about it. :)
