What are the pros and cons of running Spyce via
mod_python versus proxying the Spyce webserver
through Apache (etc...)?

>From my somewhat dated knowledge of Spyce, mod_python
gives a bit better performance than using the Spyce
webserver, but using the latter allows you to do some
kind of persistent object/data sharing(?) that makes
certain tasks a lot easier...

Are there other pros/cons to note? Besides the somewhat
slower performance of the Spyce webserver (according to the
docs), are there really any major cons to the proxied Spyce
webserver approach?
