Tag execution context Q? (was Re: Programmatic parents?)

Another strange question...  I understand that a tag definition is like
a function definition; where you use it is like a method call.  The
attributes of the tag "call" are passed into the definition from the
calling scope.  So you won't be able to reference variables in the
calling scope from inside a tag definition other than what was "passed
in" via the tag attributes.

Assuming this understanding is correct:
Do you have anything like tag-macros of inline-tags:  A tag which, upon
spyce compilation just results in the tag's definition being expanded in
place in the code where it gets executed in the calling context.
Analogous to a static include, but using the tag syntax?
