Python is a good choice. The python.org website has many tutorials
linked including mine(see .sig below) aimed at all sorts of experience
level. I suggest trying a few to see what suits your own learning
preferences.

There are also Youtube videos to get you started as well as more
formal training courses - Udemy, coursera etc.

And there are many books available both free eBooks or actual
dead-tree books.

We can't tell what works best for you, but there is no shortage.
Whatever you choose you can always ask questions here about anything
that puzzles you. Include any error messages in full and show us your
code. "It doesn't work" is not a good start, so try to describe what
you expected and what you got.
