We can all guess what might be wrong, but we don;t know. It could be an
installation problem, and android issue, or as you say a simple user
input problem. Until the poster gives us more information it remains a
guess.

That might not be an option. One of the reasons this list
exists is to help people who have nobody else to ask.

But they definitely need to do this since we have no clue
what the problem is at present.
