vpython on linux ubuntu 10.04

hi im trying to bring the new 5.72 up on my 10.04 32bit system
for 3 days now fighting with the installation txt thats a real miss !!!
error on MAKE  configure is ok

there is no  gdkglext-config.h in the gtkglext deb packet

its a shame that there are 3years back compiled packets 5.12 is well 
overturned
