gtk embedding.

Has anyone managed to embed VPython within GTK?  Maybe using GtkGLExt python's
bindings? 

I know about the Windows wx example but was just wondering if there was
something on gtk.  If not, I shall endeavour to make it work and if
successful will write a toy programme.
