Thanks, but I was hoping for something slightly more automated than 
taking a screenshot and cropping it.  Even if that is done programatically.

I am pretty sure there is a simple way to pipe the opengl buffer to disk 
instead of the screen, and i was wondering if that feature was in vpython.
