I had the same problem. It does eventually go away but it takes a long time, like minutes. Unfortunately I never found a solution. I can interact with the widgets, no problem, but the pin-wheel is a real eyesore. I'm running PythonCE 2.4 and wxPython 2.7.0. Has anyone ran into this problem or does anyone know how to resolve it?
