I have given up trying to get a task bar in the application I am making using wxglade. After getting several errors I just took the toolbar out and moved on to other things ( I will make a post about detailing the toolbar errors but that is a secondary thing right now.) At the moment the problem I am having is that I set the mainframe window to be 800X600 in wxglade and that show up fine in the design window in wxglade like this. https://www.dropbox.com/s/4zijvjz0kqoc1da/What%20%20I%20want%20it%20to%20look%20like.jpg?dl=0 But when I generate the python code and run the script it runs without error BUT the window comes out a lot smaller then I intended it to like this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/w2h5ihsg847pfng/What%20it%20looks%20like%20in%20preview.jpg?dl=0 That is also what it looks like when I press the preview button in wxglade. The first image is what I WANT it to look like when run. here is a link to the actual code: https://www.dropbox.com/s/scs3ut71x9fmyjf/phototest4.py?dl=0 Here is a link to the .wxg file generated by wxglade: https://www.dropbox.com/s/dlvcjc0wnw1z1om/pictest4.wxg?dl=0 If i resize that smaller window that appears when the code is run it resizes to how I intended the program to appear but I want it to appear at 800X600 when initially started. I am pretty sure this has something to do with sizers and minsize. I have read several tutorials online about that but do not full understand them yet and after going thru the python could I cannot understand why it comes out shruken and how to fix it.
