Once again, many thanks Dietmar.

I've downloaded the new version and it is, as you say, very much 
better.  There is just one  thing I noticed.  When I opened wxGlade 
using Python3, there were some layout problems on the palette.  I've 
attached an image showing the problem (if the list allows attachments).  
If the list doesn't allow attachments, I can send the image to a 
different email address if you let me have one. Basically, the controls 
do not stay withing the bounds of the window, on opening.

I do realise that I don't have to use Python3 for wxGlade in order to 
generate version 3 code.

One other thing.  On opening wxGlade (in either version of Python), the 
windows are often all on top of one another.  I've tried to attach an 
image of that, too.  I do think (and I recognise it's just a personal 
opinion) that if you're going to use multiple top-level windows then you 
should keep them apart when the application starts or the user may be 
misled into believing that one or more windows has failed to open - such 
as in the image, where the palette is invisible.

I very much hope that these comments are useful to you.  If they stop 
being so, please let me know and I'll shut up.

I'm now going to start the tutorial from scratch and see how I get on.
