Just unzip the new archive somewhere, e.g. "C:\Users\MYNAME\Desktop\My
Projects\wxGlade\wxglade0.8.0"

In this directory, there will be the files wxglade.py and wxglade.pyw
Then run one of these files with a double-click or "python wxglade.py"
or whatever. With the .pyw file, no console window will be opened. So at
least for the beginning, I would recommend to use the .py file as it may
show error messages.

After running wxGlade, if you have installed the Python win32
extensions, a double-click on a .wxg file should launch the new version.

You may keep the old version or delete it. They can co-exist without any
problem. The old version had an installer, but actually it's just fine
to lauch the .py file.

I was not aware that there was a version 2.9.5.0 of wxPython and I think
it's not widely used.
I'm regularly testing these:
  - Python 2.7.8 with wxPython 2.8 and 3.0
  - Python 3.6 with wxPython 4.0
So there's a good chance that 2.9.5 on Python 2.7 will work.

Regards,

Dietmar
