Absolute positioning

Hi, I'm new to wxWidgets and wxGlade. I come from a Tkinter/PAGE and PyObjc/Interface Builder background. I was wondering if it was possible to use absolute positioning in wxGlade? If it currently isn't possible, would patches to wxGlade that implement absolute positioning be accepted?
