It's doable. I have Windows XP-SP3-(STILL)-32-Bit with Python 3.4.2 working
with '3.0.3.dev78327 msw (phoenix)'.

Manually download a Phoenix DEV wheel from the wxPython website listed
several times in this news-group.

Have an update-to-date "pip" and

google this group or the wxpython-users group for the pip arguments for a
local wheel install.

Personally I removed all Python 2.7 from my PC before doing this. You don't
have too but I did. For MS-Windows, for example, you will find a
python27.dll in the C:\Windows directory. I checked all my environment
variables to make sure they didn't point to Python 2.7. There are various
ways to manage version mismatching. I had to fungle with Panda3D 1.8 as it
came with Python 2.7. There where other packages too. I think VTK is
bundled with Python 2.7 also. Just be aware of what's in the folders of
your PATH
