Actually, it's only usable if you know wx already good enough. But even 
then, problems start when you e.g. need to add a sizer to a window, even 
where wx does not require it. For an experienced wx user that's 
counter-intuitive, for a casual user it's proably a road block. The 
other issue is that there's no way to directly edit event handlers in 
the designer. You always have to import the generated code and derive 
your own class. At this point you'll lose most people...
If wxDesigner was written in Python, I would have joined the project. 
But as it's in C++ I just reported e.g. the sizer issue and there was no 
interest to fix it.
So, honestly I don't see the point for using wxFormBuilder with 
wxPython. For a casual user it's not intuitive enough and for an expert 
it's not required. For C++  things probably look different.
