To be a co-maintainer, I'd imagine one would

   1. Need to know wxWidgets
   2. Have the same tools Robin does, like each Visual Studio version which
   were used for the various flavors and likely the commercial versions,
   3. Experience with various OSes (being that is the objective of
   wxPython/wxWidgets (native look and feel),
   4. Earned Robin's trust,
   5. Develop relationships with the wxWidgets dev group (as I imagine
   Robin has),
   6. Have save objectives as Robin with the project.
   7. Loads and load of tolerance for all kinds of people rambling on and
   on (like ME!).
