Ah, yes, it's always a good idea to search /all/ sip files for the method name. It was actually getting into the coremodule via etg/metafile.py and also via etg/dcmetafile.py. So I could fix this now by adding the .ignore() to the dcmetafile.py as well. Next is to make test_... files and then a pull-request.
