Yes, it's intended. The master branch is switching over to wxWIdgets trunk 
(version 3.1.1 currently) and a new branch named wxPy-4.0.x will be used 
for any further 4.0 releases. The buildbot has been switched over to track 
wxPy-4.0.x for the short term, but once I get some successful builds going 
for 4.1 then I'll switch the buildbot back to the master branch and there 
will be some dev snapshots for people to play with.
