wxpython equivalent to HTML footer

Good evening,

Fairly new python / wxpython user here. I have made good headway in my 
first project but I was wondering if anyone can give me a pointer on where 
to look.

I would like to emulate an HTML footer where a "banner" is fixed to the 
bottom of the screen. Much like how most newer web pages look. Is it at all 
possible?
