For your information: wxGlade also contains some examples about matplotlib integration. I thought, that's the easiest entry into measurement, control and data analysis applications. https://github.com/wxGlade/wxGlade/tree/master/examples/matplotlib3 https://github.com/wxGlade/wxGlade/tree/master/examples/matplotlib2 https://github.com/wxGlade/wxGlade/tree/master/examples/matplotlib The example3 is a bit over-engineered, but it's there to show how to use also the mouse features of matplotlib with wx and how to add some graphics primitives.
