Unable to run example

Hi,
I am running example from
http://pyxml.sourceforge.net/topics/howto/node12.html and I keep on getting
this:

if source.getByteStream() is None:
AttributeError: 'builtin_function_or_method' object has no attribute
'getByteStream'
Any hints?
