MetaWeblog API and StructuredText

I use MetaWeblog in mBloggy [1] to publish to my COREBlog.
GetCategories doesn't work and when I press Show Posts mBloggy crashes.
That aside, the most annoying thing is that my default format is
StructuredText but when I post through mBloggy it get's to be HTML.
Can this be changed? I'm ready to write code if necessary.
