COREBlog2 sorts the entries by the "Creation Date". You can set 'Effective Date' with 'Property' tab. Entries in COREBlog2 sort on 'Date' attribute. Without 'Effective Date', 'Date' is the same as 'Modified Date'. With Effective Date, 'Date' is the same as 'Effective Date'. 'Effective Date' is set when workflow changes - publish or something. If Effective Date is set to the future, a entry will appear in that time.
