Kris, Sometimes the noise comes from electric lines, an EMI filter is always a good solution and suppress noises in the electric lines who goes to the test rooms. In this area there is a lot of design who need to be in mind, not only the equipment, the test room is important too. EMI/EMF and Shielding must be considered when you design this kind of measurements.
