Hello members of OpenEEG.
I am getting ready to enter my final semester of the New Hampshire
Technical Institute's EET program, during which I have to complete and
present a senior project that I design, build, and present. My initial idea
was broadly defined as a sensor array to read the electrical activity in
the brain and output it to a program to give 3D location data of the
impulses. Realizing this was a little overambitious for an associates
senior project I've reduced my goal to getting something to be triggered by
an increase in alpha waves. For resources I have at hand now is the college
electronics lab; this has Multisim and Ultiboard design software, a dark
room and chemical milling room, and the resources to make double sided
boards without vias. I also have an Arduino Mega to build around.
Doing research to prepare for this I stumbled across the OpenEEG site and
hoped to find insight into how to approach this, and hopefully contribute
to the community myself in the process of working on this if I can.
I'm not sure exactly how experienced the members in the mailing list are,
but reading through the archives a bit I get the feeling I'm quite green in
comparison.
Hope to make meaningful contributions in the near future.

Sincerely
Marcus B.
