Hello Everyone,
I am an undergrad student who is working on hooking up the EEG board
bought from Olimex to acquire EEG signals. I have bought the EEG-SMT,
EEG-Analog Amplifier board as well as active and passive elecrodes from the
Olimex website. Firstly with EEG-SMT signals I hooked up four active
electrodes and a passive grounding electrode(DRL). However, the signals
that i acquire through Electric Guru appear to be saturated at the maximum
level. With regards to the EEG Analog Amplifier i tried setting the
following parameters: VGND @ 2V, Powered up all the opamps @ 2.5V and
connected the Channel inputs to the electrode and appropriately powered the
electrode @ 5V. However, when I acquire the through data acquisition
toolkit through LabView I see a flat output signal at 2 V. Can anyone
advise me on what i should do to test the components specifically the
electrode and the amplifier board. For the EEG analogue amplifier board i
feel i am missing something to hook up; should i just power the opamps,
electrodes and set up VGND at 2 V. If anyone could advise me on what tests
i could perform to check the amplifier board as well as the electrodes any
help will be appreciated

Thanks
Joe
