Re: Facial muscles and EEG-ECG-EMG

Thank you for your e-mail.  I have a lot of reading to do to catch up after
a year away from my last research.  I will look for PCBs, bare or
assembled, that I can order.  If you can suggest anything that would be
great.  Trying to narrow the project scope...  : )

For now, my plan is to use a gyro, accelerometer, and a +/-1psi pressure
transducer as my sip/puff (mouth) absolute analog/digital control.  When I
have the E*G figured out I will add more inputs.  For now he can hold his
head up but eventually we will have to start eliminating range of motion on
the gyro and accelerometer.

I saw a simple EMG using one opamp and a sound card.  I don't know enough
right now to determine if it would work for me.  I was a little put off by
the amount of post processing required to clean up the data.  Probably one
of those "pay now or pay later" type situations...
