I did some more experiments with concentration.   Specifically, I recorded my EEG while eating breakfast to see how my concentration varied during natural activities. I found the data to be incredibly interesting, including the important finding that "Birds beat the Internet". If you're interested, you can check out my data at:

I saw recently that Sparkfun started to carry the Neurosky MindWave.  They did a fun "new product" video where they used a MindWave (and an Arduino) to bend a plastic spoon based on the MindWave's "concentration" detector.  The video made me curious about what kind of EEG signatures indicated concentration vs not-concentration.  So, I brought out my EEG electronics and did some recordings.
