Yes, it's depending on what your aim is to measure. They are differential electrodes, so the resulting CH1 signal is (CH1+ - CH1-). The CH2 signal is (CH2+ - CH2-). The typical configuration is to keep a differential pair on the same hemisphere (left or right) and make CH1 symmetric with CH2. > 2014-07-07 6:29 GMT+03:00 ventolinmono <[email protected]>: >> >> Hi. >> New in EEG. >> >> In the EEG-SMT (Open EEG) What do the labels CH1+, CH1-, CH2+, CH2-, mean? >> Are they four separate channels? >> Why not label them CH1, CH2, CH3, and CH4? >> Why the + and - signs? >> >> Besides that I found in Wikipedia that DRL means: Driven Right Leg >> Circuit. >> >> Posted this question on Olimex's forums two weeks ago and no answers: >> https://www.olimex.com/forum/index.php?topic=3365.msg14101#msg14101 >> >> Gracias. >> >> >> ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ >> Open source business process management suite built on Java and Eclipse >> Turn processes into business applications with Bonita BPM Community >> Edition >> Quickly connect people, data, and systems into organized workflows >> Winner of BOSSIE, CODIE, OW2 and Gartner awards >> http://p.sf.net/sfu/Bonitasoft >> _______________________________________________ >> Openeeg-list mailing list >> [email protected] >> https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/openeeg-list >> Go to the above address to change your >> subscription options, e.g unsubscribe. >> > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Open source business process management suite built on Java and Eclipse > Turn processes into business applications with Bonita BPM Community Edition > Quickly connect people, data, and systems into organized workflows > Winner of BOSSIE, CODIE, OW2 and Gartner awards > http://p.sf.net/sfu/Bonitasoft > _______________________________________________ > Openeeg-list mailing list > [email protected] > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/openeeg-list > Go to the above address to change your > subscription options, e.g unsubscribe. > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Open source business process management suite built on Java and Eclipse Turn processes into business applications with Bonita BPM Community Edition Quickly connect people, data, and systems into organized workflows Winner of BOSSIE, CODIE, OW2 and Gartner awards http://p.sf.net/sfu/Bonitasoft
