Hi,
Right now I'm writing code for the microcontroller. It's not that easy to
get 12 bits through a 8 bit uart. If you lose one byte somewhere it throws
off the timing. I haven't even got to the analog part yet but I have an
idea how to design it and I have the parts in my supply. I would be
interested in seeing a schematic for an analog frontend. I'm still not
clear how to interface the analog to digital converter yet because I
haven't got that far. I want the whole thing to run off a 9v battery so the
analog section is 9v and the digital section is 3.3v. I wasn't sure if the
automatic gain control would work or if the signal amplitude was important
in the analysis of the signal.

So that's my whole design plan. I will open source it if I get it to work.
I am mostly interested in eeg for computer interface. I am not sure about
any benefits to the brain.

I just like to build stuff. One time I was in a hardware store looking for
parts for a project and this guy I knew walked in. Before I said anything
to him he said "It'll never work".

So I'm the guy that's always trying to build things.

Thanks
