LED Fade Out

hi I have been trying to build modular eeg 1.0.0 and finally got it to the stage where I could test power supply like suggested in the building instructions page. So the tests showed that everything was fine, but what worries me is that after working 15-30 seconds the led goes out. Sometimes it even works for like 3-5 minutes but it always starts to winkle and finally goes out. So does anyone have any ideas about this issue ? to me it seems to be some problem with capacitors but I have no idea what exactly. PS I didn't specify my power source... it's AC/DC adapter.. 9V & 600mAPS digital board was not connected to analog board and the microcontroller chip was not on board.
