Hi John,
Would you not be able to use the Ohmmeter function on a multimeter to measure the impedance of an electrode? One lead connected to the electrode, one lead touching the skin directly adjacent to where the electrode is placed?
Also, I've been working a shield for the new MSP432 (the newest in TI's low power micro controller line) that does 8-channel biopotential measurements. It's runs off of the ADS1299, the same chip that OpenBCI uses. The shield it completely electrically isolated from the MSP432, and contains ESD protection. We'll be getting the first round of boards in by the end of next week, around 20 or so, that we will be testing out in a biomedical engineering summer program beginning mid-July. I'll let you know how this goes. If you want to check out my website, it details this all a bit further. www.eeg64.com . Keep in mind, this hasn't been updated very recently, however most of the information in the last post still holds true. The board detailed in that post was V2.1, I just finished V2.3 .
Regards,John Ruelas

Wow, A lot of interest in EEG and discussion about EEG and wanting to revive this group. Is anyone aboard who can post to the website?Do we have anything we want to focus on?
JohnWho would like us to focus on an impedance measuring device and has an idea!

Same here. What exactly are you working on? One of the classical
masks/glasses? Or this another DIY tACS project?
