Gain of openEEG/Olimex Active Sensors and EEG-SMT

Hi there,

I'm using the Olimex EEG-SMT board with the active sensors.
I'm trying to figure out what the overall gain of the system is.
The active sensors by my understanding are just unity gain buffers?
Besides the unity gain buffer, what does the active circuitry achieve? High
freq rejection?
The manual for the board states that the gain is programmable to x1, x10 or
x200.
Firstly, what is the gain set to straight out of the box and secondly, how
can the gain be changed?
