Actually I have a whole bunch of improvements in my development version 
for the next MPB release, in addition to a few very minor fixes.

Regarding the subpixel averaging, my development version actually does the 
integrals using the new semi-analytic methods in libctl, which combine an 
analytic integral in one direction with adaptive cubature in the other 
directions.

I should try to push a new release out the door this summer.
